About Me

Hey! I’m Sage! I’m a Vermont-based children’s book illustrator, artist, and graphic designer with a love for color and playful art.

This year, I made the transition from being a freelance graphic designer to a full-time illustrator, and I couldn't be happier. I have always had a youthful spark to everything I create, and children's book illustration combines everything I love about art and design. (And storytelling!)

When I'm not illustrating or working on an art project, I love to write song lyrics, go for walks, and flip through children's books. (They are so fun to look at and great inspiration! I've read 100+ of them just this year!)

I pour my soul into the art I create and I'm currently working on writing and illustrating a few children's books of my own!

I have a BA in Visual Communications from Northern Vermont University, and I follow industry-standard techniques.

Along with illustration, I also offer design services and brand development.

I have experience in formatting for both digital and print media. (One of my book designs was selected by Northern Vermont University for their illustration book series. )
